For the second week running injury ravaged Rovers travelled to Arlsey Town with only
nine players.
Once again a gutsy perfomance saw Arlesey struggle to break through the resolute Rovers defence.
In
the 30th minute a shot deflected off of a Rovers player into the net to give Arlsey a 1-0 half time lead.
The second half
saw Rovers start well and despite being two players short they created a number of chances but the equaliser would not come.
Towards the end of the game tired legs took over but the Rovers players battled on until the final whistle.
Our players
have a great team spirit and they battled for each other throughout, once again our players were fantastic and to only lose
1-0 says it all.
Goddy play Cottenham next sunday Away and hope to
get somtehing out of the game after a 0-0 draw to them in there previous meeting a few weeks ago
Perri Jeffries and Emma Shaw should both return to
the team ,However Goddy will still be without the Injured Laura McAllister (Ankle )which looks like she could be sidelined
for a few months yet
