Players attending need to be dedicated, team focussed and fully committed, over
16yrs of age. Ability to train regularly and availability for Sunday matches

Goddy are knocked out of the Kirkley tournament in the semi finals by
Swanton Ladies 1-0. Having toped there group and gone unbeaten scoring 13 goals and letting in only 2 Goddy faced 2nd place
Swanton who narrowly beat Goddy
Just a Reminder that Pre Season Training starts on tuesday evening 3rd
July at 18:30 till 20:30.All Existing players are expected to attend as you need to sign on unless you have already
spoken to Adrian or Andy

The New Fixtures for next season have been released and we are playing
Lakenheath Ladies first game of the season on the 26th August.

Goddy Ladies win there 2nd tournament
of the Summer after beating Wisbech ladies 3-0 in the final at the Downham Market tournament.Goals coming from Emily Ingle,Sarah
Gee and Karen Williams
After coming through the group stages unbeaten Goddy faced local rivals
Huntingdon Town in the semis and won 1-0. They were then through to the Final and finished the day off on a high by
being crown champions
Next Weekend we have are final Tournament of the summer at Kirkley any
players who are making there own way there need to be there by 10AM NO LATER. Please can all players remenber to bring your
kits

Unbeaten Goddy win the first ever Cambridgeshire Womens tournament.
Goddy went unbeaten the whole tournament and didnt concede a goal all
day.Goddy topped there group after the group stages after winning 4 games and drawing 2. Goddy then got into the final
after beating Yaxely on penalties in the semis and then faced Cambridge Rangers who earlier on in the day we had beat 1-0.
With Goddy controlling the game they always looked favourites but just couldnt score that vital game and the final went down
to penalties once again Goddy winning 3-2 on penalties and being crowned the winners.
Apart from being sun burnt it was a great day out with Shelly Farr and
Vicky Lines both playing for Goddy and us Winning are first ever tournament for the club
Our next tournament is on the 18th June now at Enfield Details for the
match will be passed on when we know what is happening

On sunday 3rd June we have are first tournament of the summer at Impington
Village College (Next to Histon Rec). We are meet there at 9.15AM for a 10.00AM start. Please bring plenty of drink and food
as it wil be a all day event and wont finish till about 4 clock.Also remenber to bring your shinpads and Astros or Moulded

After a long and exciting season which had its up and downs at times
found Goddy finish 7th in the league. A injury hit season at Goddy meant that they were unable to compete at the
top of the league however did pull off some good results beating Rangers 3-2 when we was 2-0 down and beating local rivals
Huntingdon twice.
After talking to all the girls it has been comfirmed that there will
be a Godmanchester Rovers Ladies team next season competing in the new Division One North and with several players coming
back from injuries we hope that we will be able to compete for promotion to the premier.

We are currently looking for players for next season (2007/08). Age 16 +. If you're looking for a new challenge,
we would like to hear from you. We are a very ambitious club but have a very small squad at present and are looking for new
players of all abilities. We currently play in the Eastern Region Division One west and play on sunday afternoons at 2pm.
We train tuesday evenings at Bear Crofts Lane Godmanchester from 6.30 til 8.00 so if you are interested in joining a freindly
